Why It's Special

The two stars on the Curaçao flag represent the islands of Curaçao and Klein Curaçao, and the five points of each star represent the five continents from which the island's population originates. That diversity is a core part of Curaçaoan identity, and a big part of what makes the national team worth following. In November 2025, Curaçao qualified for the 2026 FIFA World Cup for the first time in their history — becoming the smallest nation by population and area ever to do so. The gradient on this jersey isn't just aesthetic — yellow and blue are the colors of the flag, and the fade between them reflects the way land meets sea on the island.
