The Bridge

Overview

A white and black football jersey with an arch graphic running down the center of the body, framing the island silhouette of Curaçao below. The design pulls from the Dutch thread in Curaçaoan football — a squad built largely from players born and raised in the Netherlands, many of them with roots that stretch back across the Caribbean sea. The arch is a reference to the Queen Emma Bridge in Willemstad, a pontoon bridge connecting two sides of the city and one of the most recognized landmarks in the Caribbean.

Why It's Special

The entire starting XI that qualified Curaçao for the 2026 World Cup was born in the Netherlands, most of them in or around Amsterdam. The Amsterdam flag on the sleeve is an acknowledgment of that; where the players came from, and how they found their way to representing an island of 156,000 people on the biggest stage in football. Two places, one team — connected, like the bridge this jersey was built around.
