Why It's Special
Tartan is one of the most recognized cultural symbols in the world, with individual clan patterns dating back centuries in Scottish history. Nemo Me Impune Lacessit — Latin for "no one provokes me with impunity" — is the motto of the Order of the Thistle, Scotland's highest order of chivalry, and appears on the national coat of arms. The coordinates on the sleeve mark Hampden Park in Glasgow, Scotland's national stadium and one of the oldest international football grounds in the world.
